Is painting cabinets worth it compared with replacing them?
If the boxes are solid and you like the layout, painting gives you a new look for a fraction of what new cabinetry costs. If doors are warped or the layout doesn't work, we'll tell you honestly and price a remodel instead.
How long does cabinet painting take?
Most kitchens take about a week from prep to reinstalled doors. You get the schedule in writing, and we plan it so you can still use the kitchen for most of that time.
Will the paint chip or peel?
Chipping almost always comes from skipped prep. We degrease, sand and use a bonding primer before a hard-wearing cabinet finish — and it's covered by our written workmanship warranty.
Can you paint oak cabinets and hide the grain?
Yes. Oak's open grain can be filled before priming for a smooth, modern finish, or left visible if you like the texture. We'll show you both at the consultation.
