Should I replace baseboards when I get new floors?
Usually, yes. Removing old baseboards gives a cleaner flooring install, and new, taller baseboards make the whole room look more finished. We coordinate both in one schedule.
Can you replace interior doors without changing the frames?
Often, yes — a new slab can be fitted to your existing frame. If the frames are out of square or damaged, we'll recommend pre-hung doors and explain the difference in your proposal.
Is trim painted after it's installed?
Yes. Nail holes and joints are filled and caulked, then the trim is finished in a durable enamel so it stays clean and crisp.
Can you match the trim in the rest of my house?
In most cases. We'll bring profile samples to the consultation, or have a match milled when an older home's trim isn't available off the shelf.
